An agreeable sense of space and style characterises the living accommodation where all rooms are well proportioned and appealingly decorated in a simple yet striking colour scheme. A devotee of local art Francesca, the property owner, has adorned the walls with eye-catching pictures of island life plus a smattering of individual artefacts collected on her personal travels some obvious in their detail, others more abstract, all combining to create a most welcoming ambience.
Furnishings are predominantly modern with a subtle classical twist that sees plump sofas standing alongside chunky polished wood coffee tables, ornate light fittings overhead, cooling tiles underfoot; potted palms and lace voiles drawing the eye in the attractive sitting room.
There are, in fact, several dedicated sitting areas inside and out, allowing members of larger parties or sharing families the opportunity to enjoy their own individual relaxation spot whilst still remaining fully in tune with general holiday activity!
Bordered by ample sun terracing, a covered dining/barbecue area and a convenient cloakroom, the good-sized private swimming pool has wide Roman steps to one side, a feature sure to be appreciated by non-swimmers and younger family members in particular.
Testament to its reputation as one of the most family-friendly locations in Mallorca, Port de Pollença enjoys one of the highest ratios of repeat-visitors on the island and yet, at the same time, retains a wonderfully laid back atmosphere, even in the height of summer.
And at Oliveres everything, you could say, is ‘on the doorstep’. The nearest restaurant is 200m away with a minimarket for everyday essentials at 800m. It is just 150m to the seafront and a further 450m to the sandy beach of Llenaire, part of a long sweeping horseshoe bay that stretches for a further kilometre around to the famous Port itself and at various points along which you can find water sports, scuba diving, beach volleyball, children’s play equipment, boat trips, numerous eateries and a plush yacht club (a popular spot for lunch).
Port de Pollença has a vibrant weekly market, comprehensive amenities, long pine-fringed promenade and a great choice of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. An expansive nature reserve, two golf courses, a wealth of cycling and walking trails as well as scenic drives through the Tramuntana mountains or up to Mallorca’s most northerly point at Cap Formentor can all be easily enjoyed in this beautiful part of a beautiful island.

Port de Pollenca - There is a range of water sports available including pedalo, kayaking, banana boats, parasailing and scuba diving. Boat trips are available sailing around the pretty bay or visiting the beautiful beach at Formentor.
Cala San Vicente - The crystal clear waters provide a great place for snorkelling and canoeing.
Pollenca - Places of interest include the Roman bridge signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use and the Puig de Pollenca – a small mountain topped by a monastery.
Pollenca Golf Course - An attractive 9-hole course with spectacular views of the mountains and the north coast.
Puerto Alcudi - Water park.

Oliveres is situated in the desirable location of Port de Pollenca with shops, restaurants and beaches all within walking distance. The nearest restaurant is 200 m, a mini market at 800 m, the seafront is just 150 m and a further 450 m takes you to the sandy beach of Llenaire, part of a long sweeping horseshoe bay. Port de Pollenca was once a simple fishing port, now it remains very attractive and one of the most popular resorts on the island. The picturesque town is full of Mallorcan charm and is home to long stretches of golden sand, a delightful promenade lined by pine and palm trees with a splendid array of cafes and restaurants and a chic marina. There is also an excellent choice of water sports on offer. Pollenca is an ancient town with attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, a place abundant with art galleries, first-class restaurants, tapas bars and cafes plus several historical places of interest. Cala San Vicente is a beautiful secluded resort village with a splendid beach and three small hidden bays enclosed by the imposing backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains. These three bays provide fine sand and pebble beaches with crystal clear waters.
