What a convenient location! With one of Mallorca's most iconic, unspoilt Roman towns on your doorstep, the position of Ca'n Menonge is hard to beat. Together with sister property Ca'n Pep this pretty house, on the road leading from Pollença towards Lluc monastery, is only 800m from the celebrated main square of Pollença itself and therefore makes an excellent choice for those not wishing to rely on a car as every essential amenity can be found within walking distance.
A wonderfully historic spot celebrated for its unique 'old-world' atmosphere, Pollença's winding cobbled backstreets are home to fresh bread, fish, fruit and vegetable stores, various interesting boutiques and a well-respected selection of cafés, tapas bars and excellent restaurants. Every Sunday morning the main square comes to life when the weekly market takes over creating a vibrant weekly spectacle that should not be missed.
With an annual diary of activities that includes a diverse choice of exhibitions, processions, concerts and sporting events this is a town where there always seems to something interesting happening.
Most notable event of all takes place over the summer months when the centrally located old cloisters host one of the Mediterranean's finest cultural festivals featuring a range of world-class artistes performing across a variety of artistic disciplines.
The mature, well-screened grounds of Ca'n Menonge form a little oasis within which it is hard to believe you are so close to so much! Younger party members will certainly enjoy the lawn and private pool with its family-friendly Roman steps, overlooked by a lovely covered dining terrace with in-built barbecue adjacent. Internally, décor, facilities and fittings which include air conditioning in each bedroom, have all been chosen with care.
The sandy coves of Cala Sant Vicenç (6.3km) as well as the impressive swathe of Pollença Bay (6.5km) are each within a ten minute drive and Pollença golf club is only 5.5km. Cyclists can choose from a variety of trails and terrains in the surrounding countryside while keen walkers are equally spoilt being able to access many different paths around the Tramuntana foothills as well as some gorgeously scenic coastal routes.
Nearer to home, a climb up the famous 'calvario' or along the serpentine track to the monastery atop Puig de Maria will be rewarded with the most breathtaking views to the sea and, with luck, even as far as Menorca.

Pollenca - Places of interest include the Roman bridge signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use and the Puig de Pollenca – a small mountain topped by a monastery.
Port de Pollenca - There is a range of water sports available including pedalo, kayaking, banana boats, parasailing and scuba diving. Boat trips are available sailing around the pretty bay or visiting the beautiful beach at Formentor.
Cala San Vincente - The crystal clear waters provide a great place for snorkelling and canoeing.
Pollenca Golf Course - An attractive 9-hole course with spectacular views of the mountains and the north coast.
Puerto Alcudi - Water park.

Pollenca is an ancient town with attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, a place abundant with art galleries, first-class restaurants, tapas bars and cafes plus several historical places of interest. Port de Pollenca was once a simple fishing port, now it remains very attractive and one of the most popular resorts on the island. The picturesque town is full of Mallorcan charm and is home to long stretches of golden sand, a delightful promenade lined by pine and palm trees with a splendid array of cafes and restaurants and a chic marina. There is also an excellent choice of water sports on offer.
