Set back from and below the main road linking Pollença with Sa Pobla, Ca’n Joan offers that highly prized combination; charming, well-appointed accommodation, a hugely appealing (and very sunny) private pool, dramatic views across countryside to the Tramuntana mountains and the wonderful convenience of being only 1.5km from iconic Pollença or a 10-15 minute drive to gorgeous sandy beaches. The open plan living/dining room, spacious and well-furnished, has direct access to the seating terrace on one side, the dining terrace on the other. Beamed ceilings in the bedrooms and bathroom add atmosphere while subtle influences of traditional Mallorca can be discerned in the choice of colours and fabrics for the décor.
And there is so much to recommend about the outdoor areas. Mature shrubs, mini-cypresses and neatly trimmed hedging enhance privacy around the pool which is also bordered on one side by a well-kept lawn providing additional recreational space for younger party members in particular. Eye-catching views across the Colonya Valley, a large in-built barbecue for al fresco catering, table tennis and an abundance of cooling shade provided by two separate covered terraces mean these environs are tailor-made for easy summer living.
Vibrant, atmospheric and friendly there is always something of interest happening in Pollença (1.5km). Excellent amenities plus a wide selection of restaurants to suit all taste and budgets can be found there as well as in Port de Pollença (7.9km) where the long and gently shelving sandy beach has boat trips, scuba diving and various water sports on offer. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy exploring the intricate network of country lanes threaded through the immediate area, the nearby S’Albufereta Nature Reserve attracts a vast variety of birdlife while golfers will find a nine hole course at 2km and a notably scenic eighteen hole course (with a very highly regarded restaurant) at Alcanada, 13km.

Pollenca - Places of interest include the Roman bridge signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use and the Puig de Pollenca – a small mountain topped by a monastery.
Port de Pollenca - There is a range of water sports available including pedalo, kayaking, banana boats, parasailing and scuba diving. Boat trips are available sailing around the pretty bay or visiting the beautiful beach at Formentor.
Cala San Vicente - The crystal clear waters provide a great place for snorkelling and canoeing.
Pollenca Golf Course - An attractive 9-hole course with spectacular views of the mountains and the north coast.
Puerto Alcudi - Water park.

Set back from and below the main road linking Pollença with Sa Pobla this convenient location is a just 2 minutes drive from iconic Pollença, 4 minutes from the golf course and 10/15 minutes drive from the gorgeous sandy beaches on the east coast. Pollenca is an ancient town with attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, a place abundant with art galleries, first-class restaurants, tapas bars and cafes plus several historical places of interest. Port de Pollenca was once a simple fishing port, now it remains very attractive and one of the most popular resorts on the island. The picturesque town is full of Mallorcan charm and is home to long stretches of golden sand, a delightful promenade lined by pine and palm trees with a splendid array of cafes and restaurants and a chic marina. There is also an excellent choice of water sports on offer.
