Can Garba is a spacious house with gated entrance, has a cosy and bright living room with air-conditioning, flat screen TV and satellite, an authentic dining area for 10 persons, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor there´s 3 more double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Outside there´s a table with chairs and umbrella, and a brick built barbecue to enjoy a grilled meal all together in open air. The private pool (4 x 9 meters) is equipped with sun loungers to relax and enjoy the summer breeze, while children will find lots of playing space around the house too.

The house enjoys a very peaceful location surrounded by the typical Majorcan countryside with a view towards the Monasterio de San Salvador on top of the hills in the background. The nearest city is Felanitx where you can find all useful amenities. On Sunday, here is also the most important weekly market of the region where you´ll can experience a very authentic Majorcan atmosphere and where you´ll find local products, fresh fruits, vegetables and fish. The lovely port of Porto Colom is only 10 km driving. This town has always managed to keep it´s original character, far away from mass tourism. There is also some delicious restaurants to enjoy diner by the waterfront. The nearest beaches are Cala Marçal and Cala Sanau. The popular resort of Cala d´Or is also reachable in only 15 minutes driving. Here you´ll find many different sandy coves, chic boutiques, restaurants with local and international cuisine and an impressing yacht port.

We had a brilliant stay at Can Garba, and have never had such a well equipped kitchen. All rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. We had a broken toaster and fan which were replaced with new ones less than 12 hours later. Similarly, we ran out of gas, and there was somebody on site to sort it out within 10 minutes. The pool was looking a bit murky after a week, and again, somebody on site by 8am to sort it out. Faultless service. Air con would have been superb in all the bedrooms rather than just the lounge, otherwise "comfort " would have scored a 10 too.

Stayed at Can Garba for a week in August with friends and family. 11 of us in total and had plenty of room. Villa well equipped and clean. Lilos in the garage for use around the pool. Kids had lots of fun in the pool and enjoyed playing games in the shaded terrace when the sun got too much! The agents were not always great at replying to my queries via email and although we had requested a welcome pack one wasn't there. The owner however was more than helpful and did give us a lift to the shops. You really do need a car as nothing is within walking distance. That said, we had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend Can Garba.
