Villa Turquesa - Cala d´Or Area

This was our second visit to Villa Turquesa and we have really enjoyed both stays. The location is perfect, with a short walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants. There is a good size pool with lovely views out over the sea. The space is very open plan and ideal for families, a couple of the bedrooms do not afford much privacy which may be an issue for a party of friends / couples. Scott is very helpful and responsive to any minor issues there might be during the stay. Hopefully we will be able to stay again at this lovely Villa.

Villa Turquesa was perfect in many ways, a fantastic pool and outside space and with four bedrooms all with generously sized en-suite bathrooms. Having Cala Egos at the end of the garden was also great. The main issue for this Villa is privacy, to access one of the lower ground floor bedrooms you had to go through the other bedroom, this was far from ideal and in no way did the rental particulars mention the fact (I have re-read and read the rental description). If you had a family with children it may be ok, but travelling in a group of adults this was not great. If I had been aware of this arrangement I would not have booked the Villa and as expected it did cause an issue on arrival with my fellow guests as someone had to have the 'short straw' and opt for the bedroom with the access right through there middle of his room.

Scott met us at the Villa when we arrived as requested, he was great to deal with and nothing was too much trouble.

This is a great Villa, just be minded about the lack of privacy and work out whether the lower ground floor bedroom access is acceptable. We certainly felt short changed.......

Sehr sauber und einladend. Die Möbel und Ausstattung könnten aber etwas moderner und neuer sein. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die super schnelle Kommunikation vor Ort und der Service bei Fragen und Problemen. Das beste an der gesamten Unterkunft ist die unglaublich tolle Aussicht mit spektakulärem Blick aufs Meer. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Obwohl der Preis für die Leistung doch etwas zu hoch ist, trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

Très jolie propriété avec superbe vue sur la mer. Nombreuses pièces spacieuses. Attention eau du robinet non potable (prévoir des bouteilles d'eau). Piscine non chauffée (un peu fraîche en octobre). Petits commerces de proximité très pratiques. Nous reviendrons!

Super vacances ! Emplacement idéal.

Eine wunderschöne Villa mit perfekter Lage. 20 Meter bis ins Meer, kleine Bucht, 100 Meter bis zu den ersten Restaurants. Die schönsten Buchten und auch das Zentrum Cala d'or sind mit dem Fahrrad schnell zu erreichen. Taxis sind auch sehr günstig. Die Küche ist in diesem Jahr neu gemacht worden. Alles sehr geräumig und grosszügig. Wichtig zu wissen ist das zwei Zimmer keine Türe haben. Nicht ideal für Leute die einen schlechten Schlaf haben. Ansonsten nichts zu meckern. Würden jederzeit diese Villa wieder buchen.

Had a great experience with Best Holiday Homes and the Villa. All information provided was informative and accurate. The villa was superb, exceeding all expectations. The whole villa and grounds were exceptionally clean, rooms were big and spacious all with en-suite. The pool was great, we spent a good time here most days. Loved the whole holiday.
The small negative was that as the upstairs bedroom did not have a door, noises from the kitchen could be heard.
I would suggest a full length mirror as us girls like to see ourselves before entering into the lovely town.
The views from the villa were outstanding.
We honestly couldn't ask for more, we will be returning and we will use Best Holiday Homes again.

Villa turquesa is a great house on a really beautyfull location. We enjoyed the views every day. There is nothing better than drinking your coffee on the loungebank enjoying the views every early morning.
Only thing we missed in the house were doors. Sleeping rooms upstairs and downstairs do not have a door which makes the house very noisy.
