Apartment Marina Cala d´Or is a newly renovated 2-bedroom apartment in an excellent location at the Marina of Cala d'Or "Porto Cari" with a lovely sandy beach, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The property benefits from a private balcony/terrace with views to Cala Llonga Bay and the use of a communal swimming pool at the resort. A modern split level, open plan interior includes air conditioning (hot/cold), a fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area (German satellite/smart TV, DVD player, music system) with patio doors to the terrace creating a light and airy environment. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a Juliet balcony, double bed and the other with two single beds, plus 2 bathrooms, one is en-suite and the other is next door to the second bedroom, providing its' guests with their own private facilities. This lovely apartment would suit a group of up to 3 people who want to be centrally located close to the bars, restaurants and atmosphere of the prestigious Marina!

The apartment enjoys an enviable location at the prestigious Marina of Cala d'Or "Porto Cari", where you will find a variety of excellent restaurants with national and international cuisine and also the famous Yacht Club with restaurant, lounge bar, gym and Turkish Bath. At 300 m there is a small supermarket for daily groceries and fresh bread in the morning. The closest sandy beach is the idyllic "Calo d' Es Pou " at just 900 m walking which offers all facilities like sun loungers, umbrellas and a cosy beach bar or if you would like to discover the shore from the water side there is a large selection in day trips by boat to choose from and water sport activities nearby. Along the Marina you can easily walk to the nearby resort of Cala d'Or, built in typical Ibiza style, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and pine trees which provide the resort with a beautiful, picturesque touch. Here you'll find chic boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants and more lovely sandy coves like "Playa Cala d'Or" and "Cala Gran". Recommended is a visit to the market at Santanyi held every Wednesday and Saturday mornings with many stalls offering handicrafts, leather bags, handmade jewellery, accessories clothes etc, as well as plenty of locally produced fruit, vegetables, meats and cheeses.

We arrived at 0130 am so we didn't get chance to evaluate a apartment till the following morning.
We slept soundly in the comfortable beds and was greeted on opening the curtains with glorious sunshine. We had chance to look at the apartment which had everything we needed and a balcony to enjoy with it's table chairs and parasol and beautiful views of the marina and the people walking past. There were two bathrooms with baths and showers fitted along with toilet and bidet. The only complaint we had involved the kitchen cupboards one of the hinges had come away making it extremely difficult to open and another drawer was difficult to open . The safe had a battery missing and we didn't get a response from the apartment caretaker. But we never let these small issues spoil our holiday and ended thoroughly enjoying our stay in the apartment which was only a short walk away from a supermarket and many restaurants and bars. Would we go back there again most definitely yes.
