Peacefully located in the sleepy hamlet of Defaranata, this gorgeous, recently constructed home is a lovely spot in which to escape the hurly-burly of modern day living and enjoy life at a much gentler pace! With appealing sea views from the pool terrace across the sparkling Bay of Assos, two tavernas and a minimarket at nearby Vassilikades (3.6km) plus the excellent amenities and charming little beach of Assos itself around a ten minute drive, Dafni offers everything needed for a memorably restful holiday.
A wealth of natural local stone, wood and ceramics has been incorporated to great effect in the house fabric to create a most welcoming ambience, with vaulted beamed ceilings adding further character to the already spacious interior.
And equal care can be seen in the house finish; rooms are simply styled and all the more attractive for it, carefully chosen furnishings achieve a perfect balance of comfort and practicality with pride of place in the décor given to the unblemished hues of the exposed stone walls and mellow ochre shades of polished cement and sandstone. A modern farmhouse kitchen set to one side of the open plan lower floor blends in seamlessly with the semi-rustic theme of the property.
Plenty of terrace space over several levels surrounds the house and private pool ensuring everyone will always have their own personal spot whether wishing to sit, sun or dine!
The world famous sandy crescent beach of Myrtos and picturesque harbour of Fiscardo and are both easily reached by car in about 15 and 25 minutes respectively. All across this scenic northern half of the island there are numerous ‘hidden’ coves, sheltered beaches and country walking trails awaiting your discovery.
Part-terraced grounds and some open-sided steps mean younger children may require supervision.

Sports & Activities
Visit Fiscardo - A beautiful quayside village that has something for everyone, Roman ruins, an extremely pretty harbour front, great tavernas and restaurants, excellent boutiques and a couple of lovely small bays.
Snorkelling - Recommend is Alaties, as not only is it quiet, beautiful and clean it also has a wonderful taverna nearby for a delightful light lunch.
Myrtos Beach - Bathe in one of the most glorious beaches in all of Europe. It has regularly been voted amongst the top 5 beaches over the past few years.
Onassis Islands - Take the organised excursion from Fiscardo harbour, before arriving at the Islands of Skorpios and Meganisi, where the Onassis family spent much of their time, you are more than likely to be accompanied by a few dolphins and/or porpoises along the way.
