This traditional family villa is set over 3 floors and accommodates 6 guests in 3 air-conditioned bedrooms. It comprises, a double and a twin on the first floor that share a family bathroom, both have access to a terrace with far-reaching views. On the ground floor is a further twin bedroom, a shower room, an open plan lounge with a seating area, a dining table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with modern appliances and all amenities needed for a self catering holiday. The lower ground floor is used as a utility area with a washing machine. The outdoor space is a real show stopper with manicured gardens, a private (8 meter) swimming pool with a children's section, sun loungers, umbrellas, a barbecue and various outdoor seating areas. Villa Demetra is a good choice for families or friends to relax, unwind and enjoy the peaceful setting whilst being close to beautiful beaches and places of historical interest.

Prines is a traditional mountain village with a natural green countryside, fruit trees and impressive olive trees. This friendly village has local tavernas dotted around, mini markets and walking paths for keen walkers. The venetian town of Rethymno with its' many attractions is 8 km (20 mins drive) and Gerani beach is 2.9 km (7 mins drive). Just 8 km west, the bridge over Petres river marks the beginning of one of Crete's most beautiful sandy beaches which spreads over a distance of 11 km along the Almirou Bay via Kavros to Georgioupolis with good facilities and a variety of water sports and a dive centre.
A car is recommended when booking the villa.
